can i periodically retrieve tabular view, yaml and the png

Just a simple question. Is there an API or a command I could run with a cronlob and a docker compose exec that would allow me
to do exports periodically without any user interaction.
I would be interested in the tabular view and in the graph in yaml format and as .png

If not any poiinter how to do that?

There is no ready-made server-side export command or export API in the current version. The backend exposes the canvas data through authenticated GET /api/v1/canvas?design_id=..., but the actual export formats are built in the browser (API client, backend route).

The Markdown table and YAML are generated from the loaded React Flow nodes and edges, then copied or downloaded by the frontend (export handlers). PNG is even more browser-specific: it captures the rendered .react-flow element with html-to-image (canvas selection, PNG implementation). So docker compose exec currently has no exporter it can call.

For periodic backups right now, there are two practical choices:

• save the authenticated /api/v1/canvas response as JSON if a restorable snapshot is enough;
• use Playwright or another headless browser to log in, open the design, and trigger the existing downloads. That is the only option that will produce the same PNG as the UI without reimplementing the renderer.

For a PR, YAML and Markdown are the good server-side targets: add authenticated export endpoints and port the two pure serializers from frontend/src/utils/exportYaml.ts and frontend/src/utils/exportMarkdown.ts. PNG should probably remain a browser/headless-browser job, because its output depends on the live DOM, styles, fonts, and current canvas rendering rather than just the stored node/edge data.
