FR: Field Alias

The Problem

I have a situation where I have two field tabs that are conditionally displayed based on another field's value (that's located in a separate tab):

This is clean and makes it easy to show/hide a bunch of fields without having to individually adjust each field's visibility conditions. However, I now want a particular field to be shared between both field tabs.

The Idea

This might be a really dumb idea, but what if you could create a field alias (another instance of the same field who's value stays in sync with the main field).

Here's a mockup (the purple icon indicating it's an alias):

For now I'm just moving everything back into a single tab, but the field alias could still be nice for situations like this!
