Tool to mark up images

I sometimes like to mark up images, like encircle an object, draw an arrow, etc. So far, I use Google Photos for that, but I would like to disable Google Photos on my phone.

Is there any tool that plays particularly well with Aves Libre for this purpose?

Fossify Paint is actually nice and simple, except: It saves the result as a screenshot of what is shown on screen, which is weird and inconvenient.

Personally I use Google Photos editor, but Snapseed and Image Toolbox are alternatives worth a try.

Thanks! I think I’ll go with Image Toolbox as an open source alternative to the Google Photos editor.

I avoided Image Toolbox in the past as it does a bit too much. Things like setting date-time in the meta data of shared photos, I prefer to do right from within Aves Libre.
