My bad. Forget that laravel's env() order of checking env var is $_ENV, $_SERVER, getenv() and then from .env file. Sorry for the hassle |

Laravel utilizes the DotEnv PHP library. This require
.env(or.env.{APP_NAME}) to exists in your root project dir.I would like to be able to use env vars directly from a running shell instead of depending only on the env file.
The root issue for me is that I would like to use doppler for my secrets and config vars but because Laravel depends on
.env*(DotEnv lib) file(s) it cannot be done. All reactions
