Hello! 👋

My name is David and I'm the creator and main maintainer of Happy DOM.

It's hard to keep up with all the contributions coming in lately with the help of AI. My job with Happy DOM looks more like a review gate keeper nowadays. I need to make sure that the code is kept maintainable, we have great performance, browser standards are followed and that we don't introduce any security vulnerabilities. What I like to do the most is of course to do contributions on my own.

I'm going to be honest, I don't have the time needed on my free time to keep up with the current pace. It would almost be a full time job, at least for some time.

By sponsoring me, you make it possible to free up time from my regular job, so that I can work with Happy DOM ❤️
