A SillyTavern UI extension that replaces the flat Chat Completion preset selector with a searchable tree of nested, collapsible folders.
- Opening the folder manager no longer closes the preset dropdown underneath.
- The underlying preset dropdown and SillyTavern UI remain fully visible without background dimming or blurring.
- Closing the manager returns smoothly to the still-open preset dropdown, keeping search queries, expanded folders, and scroll position intact.
- Added clickable, sortable Preset and Folder column headers in the manager's assignment list with ascending/descending toggles.
- Preset sorting works seamlessly together with preset filtering and search.
- Added full keyboard navigation in the preset picker: navigate items with Arrow Up/Down, expand/collapse folders with Arrow Right/Left, and select with Enter.
- The extension now initializes silently without displaying a startup/ready notification popup.
- Collapsible folders
- Unlimited nested subfolders
- Searchable preset list
- Folder manager for assigning existing presets
- Persistent assignments and expanded/collapsed state
- Live synchronization when presets are created, imported, renamed, selected, or deleted
- Sidebar-safe dropdown interaction
- No preset-file rewriting or movement
- No directory scanning or disk-folder management

extension_settings["chat-completion-preset-folders"]
The stored metadata contains folder IDs, names, nesting, sort order, collapsed state, and preset-name assignments. It contains no preset JSON contents and no filesystem paths.
