🐛 Fix verdi group list -O ctime and support ctime on groups (#7151) - #7758
ValueError: ctime is not a column of aliased(DbGroup)
Valid columns are:
pk (alias for id)
uuid
label
type_string
time
description
extras
user (alias for user_id)
The database model DbGroup stores the creation timestamp in the time column. Furthermore, Group and BackendGroup only expose .time rather than .ctime, unlike Node and Comment. In QueryBuilder, 'ctime' was not mapped to 'time' for db_dbgroup.
Solution
QueryBuilder mapping: Added 'ctime': 'time' to PROJECT_MAP['db_dbgroup'] so QueryBuilder correctly resolves ctime into the underlying time column for ordering, projection, and filters.
Error alias reporting: Updated get_column in QueryBuilder to include table-specific reverse projections in the Valid columns are: error message (e.g. ctime (alias for time)).
ORM Group interface: Added ctime property to Group and BackendGroup returning self.time, providing symmetry with Node and Comment.
Tests: Added tests for verdi group list --order-by ctime (both ascending and descending) in tests/cmdline/commands/test_group.py, and tests for projecting, filtering, and ordering by ctime on groups in tests/orm/test_groups.py.
Group and BackendGroup now expose ctime through time. The query builder maps group ctime to the stored time field. Tests cover querying, filtering, and command-line ordering by ctime.
Changes: Group creation-time support

Group and BackendGroup expose ctime through time. The query builder maps group ctime to time and includes reverse project aliases in valid-column suggestions. Tests cover projection, ordering, filtering, and verdi group list ordering by ctime.
The implementation may be correct, but the new tests do not independently prove ctime ordering.

Explanation
Issue #7151 requires verdi group list -O ctime to work. The issue suggests mapping ctime to time in orm.querybuilder.main:PROJECT_MAP. The reviewed diff adds 'ctime': 'time' to PROJECT_MAP['db_dbgroup'] in src/aiida/storage/psql_dos/orm/querybuilder/main.py, which implements this suggestion. The issue also states that Group lacks ctime. The PR adds a ctime property to Group (src/aiida/orm/groups.py) and BackendGroup (src/aiida/orm/implementation/groups.py) that returns time. Per the change summary, tests/cmdline/commands/test_group.py::test_list_order checks ascending and descending verdi group list ordering by creation time, and tests/orm/test_groups.py checks projecting, filtering, and ordering by group ctime. The Group and BackendGroup and test changes were verified from the change summary only, because the repository diff for those files was unavailable. The core mapping was verified from the diff.
Full details: Out of Scope Changes check
Explanation
The ctime mapping, the Group/BackendGroup property, and the tests relate directly to #7151, so they are in scope. The get_column change in src/aiida/storage/psql_dos/orm/querybuilder/main.py is related to the issue, because the error message lists valid columns and the PR description states that ctime should appear there. However, the new line reverse_projections = {v: k for k, v in projections.items()} if projections else {} references the name projections. get_column(colname, alias) has no projections parameter in its visible signature, and projections is a local variable of _build, not of get_column. The visible module-level names do not define projections either. If the name does not resolve in get_column, every invalid-column path raises NameError instead of the intended ValueError. The module section that would confirm or rule this out was not returned, because the file read was truncated at 16000 bytes. The Group and BackendGroup diffs and the test diffs were also unavailable, so their content is known only from the change summary.
Resolution
Confirm, from the reviewed head, how the name projections resolves inside get_column in src/aiida/storage/psql_dos/orm/querybuilder/main.py. Also confirm the bodies of the changed Group, BackendGroup, and test functions by reading their diffs. Provide the get_column definition and its surrounding module section, or confirm that projections is bound in that scope.

Set timestamps that distinguish ctime order from ID order.
These groups use implicit timestamps. Their expected ctime order also matches their ID order, so an ID-based ordering regression could pass the ordering assertions. Give the groups distinct explicit time values in the opposite order to their IDs. Update the ordering and filter assertions to use those values.

Make the CLI test distinguish ctime order from ID order.
The expected ctime order is identical to the ID order asserted above. If the command orders by ID instead, both new assertions can still pass. Set contrasting creation times for the test groups and assert the resulting ctime order in both directions.
