We had a ticket open on the marketing website board for updating and adding schemas on docs.

Changes

• Update the organization/corporation schema
  • Updated to match the organization schema displayed on goteleport.com/blog/
  • Is now of type organization and not type corporation, goteleport.com/ and goteleport.com/blog/ both use the organization type
• Add TechArticle, HowTo and a BreadCrumb schema
  • BreadCrumb schema starts at goteleport.com as specified here
  • TechArticle and HowTo schemas currently require a publish date to be set in frontMatter for it to be included in the schemas
  • Last Modifed date uses the most recent changelog date as a final fallback
• One of the specified requirements for full task completion is not addressed here: landing pages do not currently display the same type of schema as the pages under the landing page. Currently they default to the TechArticle schema.

On local dev all of the schema url:s resolve to host/page instead of host/docs/page but I assume (?) that is due to the pages themselves not resolving to a /docs/ path on local dev.

Schemas to confirm

• /docs/ should not include a TechArticle or How-To schema, should include organization and a 2 item breadcrumb

• /docs/zero-trust-access/management/diagnostics/ should include a 5 item breadcrumblist and a tech article schema

• /docs/enroll-resources/database-access/enrollment/aws/rds/sql-server-ad/ should include a HowTo schema
