The Blockchain Certificate Verification System is a web application developed to provide a reliable way to verify the authenticity of digital certificates.
The system explores the use of blockchain technology, unique certificate identification, and cryptographic verification concepts to reduce the risk of certificate forgery and unauthorized modification.
The project was developed as a collaborative academic project for:
Kovai Kalaimagal College of Arts and Science
Traditional certificate verification can involve manual processes that may be:
- ⏳ Time-consuming
- 📄 Dependent on physical documents
- 🔍 Difficult to verify remotely
⚠️ Vulnerable to fake or modified certificates- 🏢 Dependent on contacting the issuing institution
Our system provides a digital verification workflow that allows certificate information to be checked through a unique certificate identity and secure verification mechanism.
Create and manage digital certificate information through the web interface.
Verify certificate information using a unique certificate identifier and verification data.
Demonstrates how blockchain-based records can be used to improve certificate integrity and trust.
Each certificate can be associated with a unique identification value for verification.
Changes to certificate information can be identified through verification mechanisms.
Users can access the system through a browser without requiring a dedicated desktop application.
The interface is designed to work across different screen sizes.
