  • added support for WildFly 34 - 39
  • removed ManagementProtocol.HTTP, ManagementProtocol.HTTPS, and HttpModelControllerClient;
    the WildFly HTTP management interface (http-interface) has been deprecated since WildFly 9 (2015,
    management model version 1.7.0) and none of the known consumers use it
  • removed httpclient (Apache HttpComponents Client 4) dependency
  • fixed test compatibility with WildFly 39 infinispan schema changes
  • deprecated the entire offline commands subsystem (OfflineManagementClient, OfflineCommand,
    OfflineOptions, GroovyXmlTransform, etc.); offline XML manipulation is superseded by the
    embedded server configuration approach — use online management operations with an embedded server instead
  • upgraded minimum Java version from 8 to 17
  • upgraded compile-time WildFly Core dependency to 29.0.0.Final
  • upgraded groovy to 4.0.31
  • upgraded Arquillian Core to 1.10.0
  • upgraded SpotBugs Maven plugin to 4.9.8.3
  • added JDK 25 CI, removed WildFly 10 / JDK 8 CI

- Java target: 1.8 -> 11 (remove dead java8/codenarc profile)
- Groovy: 4.0.22 -> 4.0.30 (JDK 25 compatibility)
- WildFly Core: 2.2.0.Final -> 29.0.0.Final (CompletableFuture-based ModelControllerClient)
- Arquillian Core: 1.6.0.Final -> 1.10.0.Final
- SpotBugs Maven plugin: 4.7.3.5 -> 4.9.8.3 (JDK 25 support, exclude CT_CONSTRUCTOR_THROW)
Add ServerVersion constants VERSION_29_0_0 through VERSION_33_0_0 and
testsuite profiles for WildFly 36-39. Default active profile moved from
wildfly35 to wildfly39. README updated with dependency docs for WF 36-39.
The WildFly HTTP management interface (http-interface) has been deprecated
since WildFly 9 (2015, management model version 1.7.0). Remove
ManagementProtocol.HTTP/HTTPS, HttpModelControllerClient, related tests,
and the httpclient dependency. No known consumers use this transport.
WildFly 39 infinispan:15.0 schema requires at least one cache child
in a cache-container. Add local-cache elements after bare
cache-container creation in OperationsTest.
Offline XML manipulation via Groovy scripts is superseded by the
embedded server configuration approach. Deprecate OfflineManagementClient,
OfflineCommand, OfflineOptions, OfflineCommandContext, GroovyXmlTransform,
ConfigurationFileBackup, and ManagementClient.offline().
Remove WildFly 10 test jobs (required JDK 8, no longer supported).
Add JDK 25 to the default WildFly profile matrix. Bump
actions/checkout and actions/setup-java from v1 to v4.
Major version bump due to breaking changes: minimum Java raised to 11,
HTTP/HTTPS management protocol support removed.
