A second Stockfish reads the position and never plays. It offers tries in chess language, previews the line, and compares your move with the CPU reply. The README points at free play and lessons on GitHub Pages. Co-authored-by: Weldon Sams <wsams@users.noreply.github.com>

You can play acnab on GitHub Pages and take a lesson in the same page. No account, no ads, no tracking. The coach is a second Stockfish that reads the position and does not play.
This branch includes v1.9.0. Check, checkmate, and the side to move stay on the board with Lessons open.
